The Story
A single woman living alone watching romantic Korean series and dream to find her one and true love one day. Her friends are celebrating the anniversary with their boyfriends and some are getting married. She can’t take this single lonely life anymore, she try every way to find the one and only but boyfriend is not a thing that you can shop at the grocery, she needs help. She searches for a way to help her meet the one and she finds that she needs to go with Mutelu. (Superstition Magic). She goes to several famous Temples and Shrines but this seems a long way to go. Let’s see if this Mutelu thing is going to work!

At first my project is called “Boyfriend-hunting” but the name is too straight. My Advisor Aj. Teema Muekthong suggest this new name “Mutela Mutelove”
This is my first time creating a frame by frame animation so I have a lot to learn; timeline, frame per sec and movement of the characters.

Scene Setting
All actions take place in Bangkok. The Shrines and temples in the videos are inspired from real place. Sri Maha Mariamman Temple (วัดแขกสีลม), Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (วัดเล่งเน่ยยี่ เยาวราช) and Trimurti Shrine (ศาลพระตรีมูลติ เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์)
Characters and the scene
My intention to focus on the main character "Kat" she will always wear pink to imply that she is full of passion of love. The overall colours change throughout story-timeline from the very first scene the colors are changing from blue to purple and to pink at the end. To convey the messege that at the end her passion of love is spread around.
About this Project
This project is created from my perspective toward gods and superstition, no intention to insult the sacred.
